Kansas City and Tampa Bay wrap up their series on Thursday night at Tropicana Field. Duffy will come off the disabled list and get the start in the series finale against the Rays. Duffy has been battling left shoulder impingement but reported no discomfort during his last bullpen session on Monday. Glasnow will be making his fifth start some coming to the Rays in the trade that sent Chris Archer to the Pirates. He took the loss Saturday night in Boston, but retired the final 12 batters he faced and 17 of the last 18.
KC are 17-52 in their last 69 overall.
KC are 4-12 in their last 16 Thu. games.
Over is 8-3 in KC last 11 road games.
Under is 10-2 in TB last 12 overall.
Under is 6-2 in TB last 8 games following a win.
TB are 37-18 in their last 55 games on astroturf.
HEAD TO HEAD:
Under is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings.
The trusty projection model sees the underdog Royals toppling the Rays in about 55 percent of simulations for their Thursday game, making this a must-play on the massive underdog. Kansas City has lost six straight in this matchup but I’m seeing plenty of value behind Danny Duffy and the Royals also are on a 10-4 spurt in Game 4 of a series.
Prediction : KANSAS CITY +175
